Here’s a recipe-style, step-by-step set of instructions your followers can follow before they “put it in the oven” (paste into ChatGPT). It’s built to keep them out of vague-land and get them to a usable PAS ad fast.

A practical, no-hype method for generating ads that sound human and actually convert.

Step 1: Pick one product/service to advertise. Not your whole business. One thing. If you try to advertise everything, you’ll advertise nothing.

Step 2: Write the “table version” of what you do in one sentence. Pretend you’re explaining it to someone who doesn’t care yet. Keep it plain. No brand language.

Step 3: Identify the real problem you solve. Not “they need marketing” or “they need customers.” What’s the specific stuck point you actually remove? Write it as something they’d complain about to a friend.

Step 4: Name the consequence if nothing changes. What does that problem cost them in real life—time, money, stress, reputation, wasted effort, momentum? Keep it honest. No doom-mongering.

Step 5: Define the relief. Finish this sentence: “After working with us / buying this, they stop ________.” Relief is the hinge. If you can’t name it, your ad will be generic.

Step 6: Describe the customer as a situation, not demographics. Use: “They’re someone who is dealing with ________.” If it sounds like a LinkedIn persona, rewrite it until it sounds like a real human.

Step 7: Choose one platform. One. Each platform has a different reading speed and tone. Commit to the context.

Step 8: Decide your call to action. Pick one action: “Book,” “Call,” “DM,” “Order,” “Get a quote,” “Schedule,” “Stop in today.” If you give five options, people choose none.

Step 9: Fill in your ingredients (the inputs) in clean language. Use exactly this format:

Industry:

Business Type:

Ideal Customer (situation):

Offer (one thing):

Primary Relief (“This helps stop…”):

Platform:

CTA:

Step 10: Paste the filled-in inputs into the ChatGPT prompt and generate one ad. If the first version is close but not quite right, don’t start over—refine it with one instruction: “Make the problem more specific,” or “Make it calmer,” or “Make it more direct.”

Now you’re ready to put it in the oven.

If you want to turn this into a post for your audience, I can rewrite it in your voice so it reads like a “Mad-Science kitchen recipe” without getting cheesy or trying too hard.
